Another outtake from the Bill Petit’s shoot for Esquire. The river that runs by Bill’s new home at night. Shot March, 2013.
Bill Petit’s parents’ backyard, where some of the plants from his old house were planted after it burned down. An outtake from an article shot for Esquire Magazine.
Bill Petit for Esquire Magazine, March, 2013. For a feature article in this month’s issue. I posted the tearsheet here.
Cables by the side of a building, Valparaiso, Chile. A couple of weeks ago, while shooting another assignment for a magazine.
I shot this while I was shooting that very long and very rewarding assignment a few weeks ago. More peripheral (and sometimes abstract) images to come…
Another very recent tear sheet. I drove up to Connecticut to shoot this man for Esquire Magazine a few weeks ago. As much as I loved shooting for Esquire again, and a portrait feature at that, I was in numb disbelief that this story could have happened to another human being. Perhaps not the most appropriate story to read on a sunny spring day. But if you have to – and I think you should:

But always best to pick up a real copy; of course, for the pictures too. It’s out now in Esquire’s May issue.
Thank you Bill and Christine.
And thank you Michael for this incredible assignment.
